No Royal Family member has been exempt from the blue ice. From the Queen Mother to Harry and William, everyone has been assaulted by it at some point. There are some news reports detailing other falling blue ice in other parts of the world, but the incidents involving the Royal Family are too frequent to dismiss as random. There is some force (natural or unnatural) at work here.

The blue ice arrives from the skies in a slushy form, not hard enough to break bones, but fast enough to bruise. It can fall from straight above or from angles at few as 30 degrees above the horizon. Once melted, the blue ice reveals other contents hidden inside. The brown substance inside emits a horrible odor and can stain material.

The blue ice has never permanently physically harmed any member of the Royals, but it has raised some serious concerns with the Service protecting them. Scotland Yard has thus set up a "BIP" force, Blue Ice Protection Force, a group of 75 men with sophisticated monitoring devices and aircraft to track the blue ice to its origins. Though the team has documented some of the attacks themselves, the origins have never been discovered.
