This is probably the most famous photograph of an attack on our Queen from blue ice. It was captured by an amateur photographer on Royal Tea Day in 1999. The Queen was not pleased, but also wasn't injured in the incident...
In 1997, live on BBC2, the Queen was attacked by blue ice in front of an audience of 2 million Britons. The station quickly went to a commercial as the Queen was whisked away to the emergency room.
And once again in 2001 during a live address to the world, the Queen was disgracefully and cowardly attacked. She wiped away some of the stench-ridden ice and continued her speech.
